Back in 1987, RUF decided to make a car based on a Porsche 911 and call it the RUF CTR (or Yellowbird).
It had a twin-turbo 3.4 flat-6 engine that could make 470 BHP, and because the car was so light (1,150 Kg) it could do from 0-60 MPH in 3.65 seconds and had a top speed of 210 MPH (340 Km/h)!
At the time there wasn't any car that could even dream about that!
This same car had for many years the Unofficial record of the Nurburgring!
So let's watch this video made by RUF themselves in 1989 and see how powerful this thing was!
Welcome everyone to the "Faszination on the Nurburgring!"
